Academic

Alexander Rutherford Scholarship

To recognize and reward academic achievement of senior high school students and encourage them to pursue post-secondary studies. Applications open early August 2022. Value up to $2500

Jason Lang

The scholarship recognizes and rewards Alberta post-secondary students for their academic achievements and encourages them to continue in their undergraduate or professional program of study. Value of $1000. 

Indigenous

Horatio Alger Indigenous Achievement Scholarship

The Horatio Alger Indigenous Achievement Scholarship is for Indigenous students starting a four year post-secondary program in the fall. This is a renewable award of $2,500.  

Petro Canada Award for Indigenous Students

The Petro-Canada Award for Indigenous Students is for Canadian Indigenous students enrolled a Canadian high school program.  It is a one time award of $750 for students from one of the Indigenous communities listed within the application.

Ted Rogers Scholarship Fund for Indigenous Students

The Ted Rogers Scholarship through Indspire is for Canadian Indigenous students starting a post-secondary program in the fall of  2022.  It is a renewable award of $2500 per year for students enrolled in a minimum two year post-secondary program to a maximum of four years. 

Athletic

Alberta Athletic Award

The Alberta Athletic Award recognizes and rewards athletic participation at universities, colleges, and technical institutions in Alberta. Value of $1800.

Alberta Junior Athletic Award

 The Alberta Junior Athletic Award recognizes and rewards junior athletes and provides an incentive for athletes to continue with their post-secondary education. Value of $1000 up to $2000 

Leadership & Community Involvement

TD Community Leadership Scholarship

 TD has awarded millions in scholarships to recognize students who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community leadership. TD Scholarship for Community Leadership recipients receive up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses as well as opportunities for paid summer employment, peer networking and mentorship. Applications open September 2022.

Young Edmonton Grants (The YEG Program)

THE YEG PROGRAM funds projects initiated, led, and organized by young Edmonton and area residents between the ages of 13 and 24. These grants range from $500 up to $3,000.
