he Arts & Culture Council of Strathcona County is looking for volunteers! ACCSC is a vibrant, community-focused organization that champions the promotions and appreciation of arts, culture and heritage in our region. Strathcona County Culture Days Celebrations is an annual event aimed at promoting and celebrating arts, culture, and heritage in our community.

Canada Day Volunteers Needed

Each year on July 1, Strathcona County hosts a family-friendly Canada Day celebration at Broadmoor Lake Park. Activities often include fireworks, live entertainment, scavenger hunts, food courts, canoeing and more.

Button-Making at the Highland Gathering

Strathcona County Next Gen has been tasked with button-making at the Sherwood Park Highland Gathering on July 20th and 21st and we're looking for some volunteers!

The South Cooking Community League is looking for volunteers for their upcoming Farmer’s Market season (Thursday June 20 to Thursday September 12) from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at the South Cooking Lake Hall. Volunteer positions currently open are: musicians/singers, youth face painters, youth crafts and games leaders.

Mending Parade Float

The ARAS (Ardrossan Recreation & Agricultural Society) is looking for a volunteer to help in mending their parade float skirt (it unfortunately received a couple rips the last time it was used). A pretty straightforward repair for someone semi-handy with a sewing machine. Sometimes helping out/volunteering really can be this easy!
