Karaoke and Sing-Alongs Participants Wanted

Our team is looking for music lovers to come to spend time with our residents and participate in Karaoke activities, playing instrument sessions, and Sing-Alongs sessions.


Work with our team to help residents connect and reminisce with one another through music. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the music sessions and help the Recreation Team encourage socialization during the sessions.


Hymn Sing-Alongs are scheduled every Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Sing-a-long Jam session is Tuesday's at 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. or/and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Lawnbusters

LawnBusters is a volunteer lawn-care service for seniors and/or persons with disabilities. Volunteers help residents remain in their homes safely over the spring and summer by reducing the risk of them harming themselves in the heat using lawn equipment. The LawnBusters community program matches eligible individuals with volunteers who commit to cutting grass from a residents’ front and/or back lawn as needed.

Whether you are seeking a flexible commitment arrangement or a set schedule each week, A Safe Place has an opportunity for you to be apart of the team. A Safe Place has opportunities to work in administration, donations and their New Beginnings Program, working in the shleter, and fundraising.
