Alberta Child Health Benefit
Alberta Health Services (AHS)
The Alberta Child Health Benefit covers health benefits for children in low-income households. This health plan is for children up to 18 years of age and covers dental care, prescription drugs, eye glasses, essential diabetes supplies, emergency ambulance services, and essential over-the-counter medications. Children who are 18 or 19 years old also qualify, if they are living at home and attending high school.

BGS Career Ventures
The North Assessment Centre provides Assessment and Support Management for youth, sixteen (16) to nineteen (19) years of age, who wish to attend or are attending High School or an Outreach School, Grades 10-12, and may require Foundational Learning Assistance. This assistance is to be applied to School Fees and Living Expenses while attending school.

Alexander Rutherford Scholarship
Alberta Student Aid
This scholarship is intended to recognize and reward academic achievement of senior high school students and encourage them to pursue post-secondary studies.
